LEADERSHIP WITH LIVED EXPERIENCE

Bout My Father’s Bizzness Ministries is a recognized as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. And is led by a team that understands the journey of restoration inside and out. They don’t just talk about change; they walk alongside the community every day, bringing recovery and hope to life.

Founder and President, Chris Oase, is the heart and vision behind the outreach. His dedication to reaching the “lost and forgotten” drives the ministry’s “boots to the ground” approach. Focused on action and presence, Chris keeps the work rooted in some of the toughest places, shining light for those struggling with addiction and the isolation of prison life.

Founder and Vice President, Shalesha Oase, is a Peer Specialist and Recovery Peer Coach. Combining professional skill with deep empathy and lived experience, she brings strength and support to the community. As a public speaker and mentor, Shalesha leads the recovery peer coach and mentoring efforts.

Together, Chris and Shalesha have committed their lives to fighting addiction and sharing a message of restoration with those behind bars. They believe no matter how broken someone feels, they are never truly forgotten. Currently, they’re developing a digital ministry, in the process of launching a podcast on Securus and Edovo to bring hope into prisons. To share testimony and the Gospel to those stuck in dark places. Also partnering with Healing of Hearts Ministries in the community, they aim to help turn the “lost” into the “found.” To bridge the gap from prison to true freedom.

“I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak…” - Ezekiel 34:16

No matter what you’re walking through right now, you don’t have to carry it alone. Whether you are facing a heavy burden or celebrating a quiet joy, we would be honored to stand with you in support.
